Hi Danny,

Unfortunately my iPad crashed this week.  I have downloaded the RM app but couldn't download the data logging software.

Please help.

Glad you're up and running Ben!

For anyone looking for help in this area…when you restore from an iCloud backup to a new or restored device, your database(s) will be in place ready for use.

For version 7...

Data Logging will need to be enabled manually.

To do this, go to Utilities > Probes > Probe Store. Navigate to the screen where you see the "Restore" button - that will guide you through enabling data logging on the new or restored device. This will submit a request to iTunes, and enable data logging when iTunes responds with the InApp purchase info.

If you have attempted this, but data logging is still not enabled, you have probably encountered a known bug where iTunes fails to process the request, and doesn't send back the acknowledgement that Roastmaster is looking for. In this situation, quit Roastmaster from the background tasks by double-tapping the home button, and swiping up on the Roastmaster screen. Launch Roastmaster and try again.

For version 8.0 due out Fall 2014...

Data logging is validated automatically whenever Roastmaster launches - you will not need to do anything to enable it. When data logging is enabled, you'll see a small antenna on the left side of the roaster on the home screen.
