I just received a ThermaQ Blue, I have to use their app to connect to it and then it shows up as connected in my Bluetooth devices iOS menu. Is there something I am missing?

The current version of Roastmaster on the App Store does not yet support the ThermaQ Blue. The update I've just finished, though, does. I am hoping to finalize testing today, and have it submitted to Apple tomorrow.
If you'd like to participate in a beta in the mean time (approval can take up to a week), email me (support@rainfroginc.com) and I can arrange a manual beta download for you to test in the mean time.

Is there an update on the next app update with Apple? I have just installed the ThermaQ and need the update to use Roastmaster.

I just finished testing with the legacy Duo this morning, and flipped the update live about a minute ago.
It may take a few hours to propagate to all the different iTunes mirrors, but it's live now.

I have a BlueThermQ coming in a couple of days so this is good news that the app will be ready.

The App has been working just fine.
