Title: Aillio Bullet R1 future support
Post by: Tjburton on July 18, 2018, 04:45:07 AM
I’m just mentioning this to put it on the radar... The Aillio bullet roaster apparently has Bluetooth hardware on board, but it hasn’t been implemented yet- we (the users) are being told Bluetooth will be available this year.

I would love to be able to use Roastmaster as my roasting software again... Hopefully the Aillio Bullet support could be added sometime in the future.

Thanks for a great product-
Tim

Hi Tim

I was certain I had tried to contact them in the past, but can't find any record of it.

Now that Roastmaster has its own internal Bluetooth protocol and engine, adding support for data logging should be a trivial matter if it supports Bluetooth LE, and the manufacturer is willing to allow it.

You don't by chance have an email contact for them do you. If not, I'll find one and reach out to them.

Danny-- I'm sorry I didn't a see a notification that you replied, so I didn't see your response until now. I think this email will get you in touch:  support@aillio.com

Although, I don't think they have "Activated" the Bluetooth chip on the board yet. It's there, and they have recently said bluetooth would be active this year.

Thanks for being interested in this!! I love how inventory, reporting, cupping, etc is tied together in RoastMaster. I hope I can use it with my Bullet someday.

Tim-
