Wish List / Default curve selection in Roast Console
« on: July 19, 2020, 03:50:32 PM »
Hi,

Currently it seems the default is whichever data curve is at the top of the list in the Data Curve section for that roast. What I like to see when I'm tapping through my completed roasts is how the readings compare to the references. When a curve is selected all the nodes and the area under the curve light up. This obscures the other curves, especially when they are very close together and I find myself tapping on every roast graph until no curves are selected.
I'd like to request a way to set the default curve selection to 'none' for the graph on the roast console.
If there's already a way to do this, please let me know.

Thanks,
Trey

Wish List / Re: Database Sync with multiple devices

Seconded!  :D

Edit:  I know there already exists the functionality to export/import the database, but this request, if I understand it correctly, is a slightly different case.

Wish List / Re: Edit profile/program reference curve graphically

Thanks for the help, that a lot easier than the way I was doing it.
Your envisioned curve editing feature sounds exactly like what I want. Any chance of that making it into the upcoming release?

Wish List / Edit profile/program reference curve graphically
« on: July 04, 2020, 09:33:28 PM »
Hi,

I'd like to request a new way to edit the nodes of a reference curve from within the profile/program. Currently (AFAIK), the only way to do this is to enter Edit mode for each node and modify the time and/or temp. This works, but it can be a chore to look at a reference curve and write down each node timestamp that you want to change, do the change, go back into analyzer to see the change to the curve and repeat as necessary.

I generally use the reading curves from completed roasts to create new profiles. Those seem to never be as smooth as I want for reference curves and I've been editing them as described above. What I'd like to be able to do is enter a graphical mode, like the Analyzer, from within a profile/program, select the reference curve I want to modify and either drag the node to the new time/temp or have the node's time/temp data popup for editing. I can then see immediately that I've affected the curve as I intended.

Having a great time with Roastmaster. I should have setup data logging years ago!
Thanks for all your work Danny!

Wish List / Datalogging support for power meters
« on: May 14, 2020, 09:07:54 PM »
Hi,

I have an electric, fluid bed roaster and would really like the option of automatic datalogging of power usage for the heater and fan. Preferably this would be in watts, but amps would work too. I currently enter the data (when I have time) manually as I read it from a meter.
Is there any chance of getting such a feature? Because of the multitude of sensors/meter out there, I'd be willing to adapt my roaster to whatever you decide to support so I could get the datalogging ability.

Thanks!
