I often roast a bean I've done before but tweaking it a bit from the last time.

That usually means that I use the same bean and charge, same roaster and profile (I actually always do that anyway, but that's beside the point). Then I use the roast I'm "duplicating" as the benchmark.

It would be great if there was a "duplicate" function to accomplish this (perhaps with some specifics that could be chosen from a menu in case someone wanted to do it a little differently than I describe above).

Also, it would be nice to be able to have a default roaster and profile so I didn't have to pick it every time. I assume many or most homeroasters actually only have one roaster anyway.

Hi

That last bit has been on my mind lately as well. I have a few roasters, but typically roast with only one. I'm thinking of a roast template feature. But even without that, if only one roaster is defined, I agree - it should default to that.

About the copy roast. You can long tap on roast in a list to copy it. That will take care of the roaster, profile (program) and the roasted items. Did you know about that feature? Or are you asking about some way to automatically target that particular roast and do it all in one fell swoop?

I didn't know about that copy function. That's great!
Thanks.
