We all know that we should never leave a roasting roaster unattended, but there’s nothing wrong with a little local multi-tasking is there? Roastmaster can alert you when key points in a roast are approaching.
Roastmaster lets you set an alarm for each roast in progress to alert you at any time in the roasting process you choose.
You create alarms by sliding the alarm marker to any position on the roasting gauge bezel you like. I like to slide the alarm to just a couple of ticks before first crack while the gauge is in first crack mode, so I can be sure to be in front of the roaster when first crack hits.
If no past roasts match your selection criteria, and the gauge remains uncalibrated and dimmed, the alarm can still be adjusted in the gauge timer mode.
