The Roast Analyzer offers an interactive, detailed view of your roasts. Equipped with comprehensive comparison capabilities, the Analyzer incorporates cupping data to give you the ability to quickly pan through roasts and identify patterns that affect the final taste of your roasts. You can easily interact with your roast curves – comparing temperatures and customizable deltas at any point in your current roast, past roast or target profile or program. The Analyzer’s hand-on interaction with your data helps you keep your roasts on track.
The Analyzer can be invoked to easily peruse data from past roasts, beans and blends, or used as the main monitoring tool for your roast in progress. When used in a live roast, you’ll be able to choose the targeting mode, allowing you to specify how curves are displayed. You can use this feature to easily stay on target with either the temperature curves in your profile or program, or as a means of experimentation to target any one of the past roast curves being displayed in the Analyzer.
Live labels stay locked with their respective items, allowing easy temperature comparison when targeting past roast or profile/program curves.
Live Temperature Differential Projection
For roasts in progress, you can enable projection markers for reading curves in the roast. These markers are especially useful as the bean temperature starts to rise in the stage before first crack, and continuing on to the end of a roast. These projections will show an estimated future temperature based on the curve’s recent energy and behavior, factored with the current rise of that curve.
Temperature projection works great with manual data entry, but really shines with accuracy when paired with the Data Logging option and a supported thermocouple.
