Supplemental Safety Notice and Limitation of Liability
The following supplemental terms apply specifically to the use of Roastmaster and are intended to address the operation of coffee roasting equipment and related hardware.
Roastmaster is a software tool intended to assist with coffee roasting operations. It provides information and automation features to assist the roasting process but does not control, monitor, or guarantee the safe operation of any roasting equipment.
Users are solely responsible for the safe installation, configuration, operation, supervision, and maintenance of their roasting equipment, networking infrastructure, sensors, probes, and related hardware.
Coffee roasting involves high temperatures, combustible materials, gas- and electrically-powered equipment, and other inherent hazards. Roastmaster is not a substitute for proper training, safe operating practices, or the manufacturer’s instructions for your roasting equipment.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rainfrog, Inc. disclaims all liability for any injury, death, loss, damage, or expense arising from or relating to the installation, configuration, operation, performance, misuse, or inability to use Roastmaster, including, without limitation, any software defect, hardware malfunction, sensor or probe failure, communication or networking interruption, compatibility issues, inaccurate or unavailable data, user error, equipment malfunction, fire, or any other failure that may result in damage to persons, equipment, property, or business operations.
By using Roastmaster, you acknowledge these inherent risks and agree that you are solely responsible for the safe operation and supervision of your roasting equipment.
Intellectual Property
Roastmaster, the Roastmaster name, Rainfrog, Inc., and all associated software, content, graphics, documentation, and other intellectual property are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by applicable law or Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), no portion of Roastmaster may be copied, modified, distributed, sold, reverse engineered, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of Rainfrog, Inc.
